Logo design and re-brand project for my friend, who runs an excellent VFX shop. Check them out here.
The original logo was one designed in-house, and the goal was to modernize and improve it ahead of the website launch. The new logo needed to be sleeker to reflect the efficiency and precision of the company, while still maintaining a sense of whimsy. Some representation of the bone was important as well, for personal, narrative reasons.
The result is a simple, clean mark that is easy to ID, versatile enough to work in many different environments and configurations, and classic enough to age well. In addition to the logo, I developed a graphic language that was used across other brand elements, including the web site, slates, and video content.
